PATIENT COMFORT & SAFETY
The Safety & Movement Monitoring System (SAMM) is a revolutionary device which allows a technologist to easily monitor the patient while inside the bore of the magnet. The technologist is able to view and correct patient movement, instead of having to redo the exam. This efficiency cuts down on scan time, leaving room for more scans per day. Our system utilizes 1 or more HD cameras, which can be mounted on any wall in the magnet room.
The entire system is RF shielded and filtered to remove any unwanted image artifacts. The live feed is then sent to a high resolution LCD monitor inside the operator room delivering excellent video every time. This observation system creates a safer scanning environment and it helps patients feel more comfortable knowing they are being monitored.
Not only does it increase patient comfort and security, it can reduce your liability risk. With our DVR option, all scans can be recorded, protecting your facility from potential lawsuits.
